Ask us! We're so excited to have a more intimate wedding and are happy to help with any lingering questions ☺️

Planning your trip

When is the RSVP deadline?
December 20.
Are children invited?
All invited guests are specifically listed on your RSVP.
Where should I stay?
For guests who are not staying at The Gastonian, we highly recommend an Airbnb or other accommodations in the Historic District between East Henry Street and Oglethorpe Avenue. This area offers the easiest walking access and the fullest experience of the city. There are also hotels closer to the river, though that area tends to be a little more touristy. Spring is a very popular season in Savannah, so we strongly recommend booking early.
How do I get around Savannah?
Savannah is extremely walkable. If you're flying, we don't recommend renting a car unless you plan to visit somewhere outside the city, such as Tybee Island.
Is there parking at the venue?
Guests staying at The Gastonian will have access to free onsite parking. There is also plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area.
What is the weather typically like?
Highs are typically in the upper 70s to low 80s, with low humidity.

The wedding day

What should I wear for the ceremony?
Please wear cocktail attire. Suits, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, and dressy separates are all welcome. Because the ceremony will take place in the garden, keep grass and brick paths in mind when choosing shoes.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding will take place outdoors in the garden at The Gastonian. If the weather is looking iffy, we will move all events inside.
When should I arrive at the ceremony?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony so you have time to take a few photos and find your seat. We will begin promptly at 4:30 PM.
How early can I arrive at the venue?
If you are not staying at The Gastonian, please arrive no earlier than 3:30 PM. Vendors may still be setting up, so please give them room to finish.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Please leave the photography to the professionals during the ceremony.
Will there be an open bar?
Obviously.

While you're in Savannah

What should I do while I'm in Savannah?

There's so much! Click the “Savannah” tab at the top for a full list of our favorite places. For two quick itineraries:

Frank's ideal Savannah day: Pick up brunch from The Sentient Bean and people-watch at Forsyth Park. Go to E. Shaver, Bookseller, then grab an espresso from The Gallery Espresso before heading to the Telfair Art Museum.

Isabella's ideal Savannah day: Go to J. Christopher's for brunch. Book a tour of the Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home, which offers an excellent introduction to the city and is extremely well done even for people who are less familiar with her work. Then grab a drink at Peregrin rooftop bar.
